Step by step guide to writing your will.

The Will writing process is easy and straightforward.

Step One –
Contact us online, by telephone or email to arrange an initial no obligation consultation or to request a Will questionnaire.

Step Two –
We will meet with you to discuss your requirements and provide advice and guidance or to review the questionnaire you have completed and obtain any missing details. Please bring your identification documents to this meeting.

Step Three –
We will write out to you to confirm what we have discussed, provide a quote for our services in writing and request any missing information we need to draft your Will.

Step Four –
Sign and send back our letter of engagement to confirm that you would like us to draft your Will.

Step Five -
We will prepare your Will. If you need this done quickly due to a holiday, illness or otherwise please let us know and we can expedite the drafting process.

Step Six -
We will invite you in for an appointment to discuss your Will in full. Any amendments you require can be made then and then and we will answer any questions you may have. Your Will can then be signed. We will provide witnesses to your Will. If you are unable to attend the office, then please let us know as we can send the Will out to you to be signed and witnessed. In these cases we will send a full explanation of the clauses in your Will for you to read.

Step Seven –
Your Will is now legally valid and complete. We will write to you with a reference number, copies of your Will and send you our account for work carried out. We will also store your original Will in our fire proof cabinets and electronically, free of charge.
